Welcome to The Positive People Project
A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst and it sparks extraordinary results. - Wade Boggs
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by!
I created this blog to offer a different voice amid the negative noise and pessimism that has overwhelmed us all—a voice that presents unique perspectives and content designed to inspire us to imagine a better future for ourselves and be a positive influence on our fellow human beings.
After the last decade we've experienced together, I believe most of us are ready—more than ready—to live in a sane, stable, loving, and kind world. An undivided world where humans connect over our shared humanity.
Here, I will endeavor to raise viewpoints and share ideas about how we, as a collective, can shape our shared humanity to work for us instead of against us.
I will explore themes meant to unite us—topics that I believe most of us can agree on—while fostering a positive, "by the people, for the people" vibe. This is a safe space—no divisiveness, no culture wars, no political soundbites, no media spin, and absolutely no hate. Just one human being sharing her voice and hoping it resonates with you in some way, sparks further thought, conversation, or purposeful action—a voice that aligns with the positive, happy human you strive to be.
I recently heard that nothing engages people on social media like outrage—except for inspiration. Two sides of the same coin, really. Both move you, but in opposite directions.
My intention with this blog is to provide content that helps awaken your ability to choose positivity—an uplifting alternative to the doom-and-gloom news of the day. I hope to inspire you to see things from a fresh perspective. Perhaps one of my posts will offer a helpful tidbit of information or elicit a joyful, feel-good moment. It would be a special bonus for me if I can make you laugh or smile.
An expression my mother often used comes to mind: "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." A positive approach is typically more successful than a negative one.
Please join me in The Positive People Project, where we can reconnect with the feelings of hope, joy, and excitement about the future and share our thoughts and ideas that unify us in positivity. I believe it's time for each of us to play a role in making our world a more positive place to live and thrive.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to your thoughts and feedback in Comments.
Gratefully yours,
Annie
